The Artist’s Life: Happy Are Those Who Dare Courageously to Defend What They Love

Ovid. I traveled through state this summer and saw my world at the reach of a hand. I looked for truth, for inspiration, and also, for myself in this world that I see. How much of myself rubs in these surroundings and how much of the world imprints on me?
Is it so unusual to want to be a part of something bigger? No, and therefore so many people, artists and professionals fall into frustration as they may be disconnected from the group and isolated either in their work or pushed back to a peg level by the circumstances.
It takes courage to fight for the life one thinks one wants. From year to year frustration may mount. But if an artist persists experience, knowledge, perseverance, and vision follow and become him. There is an increase in skill from mistake to mistake and over time. The will to push forward becomes her. The sheer amazement that one has managed that far is overwhelming and the love for detail takes over.
There are only few silent moments of peace but those are the ones to live for. Bringing together ones imperfect body, troubled and doubtful mind, the creative need and skill, the push for perfection, and putting this person, rooted for a small moment – one has lived! The artist creates and many ask questions and push against the wind. What is it that you love, truly and forever? The idea of perfection.
I did see many places in my state this year. Little towns with their big problems passed on my way one after the other. It calmed my heart to see more simplicity, it saddened me that the past disappears, it gave me hope the future must take over as it always does. I am a part of this world even if it does not I exist. I reach out and find peace.
